How to make Trout Pâté

 

Catch and cook a river Brown Trout. The recipe to turn trout into delicious breakfast Pâté


Recipe:

  • 400g trout fillet
  • 280g unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons of horseradish cream
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 100ml creme fraiche
  • 40ml lemon juice
  • Zest of two lemons
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh dill

Method:

Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until combined. Place in ramekins, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Spread on toasted bread and drizzle over extra lemon juice.
